About the role
We are looking for a UX Specialist to develop and maintain the functional behaviour and information architecture of our website (https://www.ikeasocialentrepreneurship.org) and a new ‘hub’ being created to enable us to continue our relationship with participants in our programs.
As a UX Specialist at IKEA Social Entrepreneurship B.V you will be driving the end-to-end UX practices and methods across our digital channels. You will ensure the digital experience is seamless, delightful and based on robust user stories.
Experiences should support our communication objectives and bring value to all we do.
You will work within a small but passionate team and will be responsible for providing user experience requirements and guidance to IKEA Publishing Platform and developers in order to create the conditions for a useful, usable and enjoyable user experience in all digital touchpoints.
This role sits within IKEA Social Entrepreneurship B.V (part of Inter IKEA Group) based in Delft, Netherlands.
About you
Are you up for the challenge of building engagement, sharing our knowledge and bringing to life our work for external audiences, such as social entrepreneurs?
Do you want to develop and create the best, most inspiring and engaging digital experience possible using different touchpoints in a multichannel reality?
We are looking for people who understand how to take strategic plans, processes, and how they can be enabled by technology. Ideally, you have knowledge of different digital capabilities (e.g. CMS, CRM, CPaaS, Analytics) and how to apply them. You are a passionate ambassador of clear, honest and audience focused communications that are true to the IKEA way of communicating.

To be successful in this role
To succeed in this role you should have experience in UX and UI design, and design thinking. You have concrete work examples on how you practice what you preach and are up to date on the impact of today’s UX approach across touchpoints, digital and physical. You have a strong point of view where this field is going. Your attitude is data aware and you embrace measurability in what you do. You actively work across disciplines and see yourself as the glue between business, user needs and developers to bring everyone together towards a common goal.
A strong interest in social good and sustainability and to be able to fulfil a delightful experience with IKEA - every time.
You enjoy an agile and iterative, yet structured way of working and achieving results together with a team in a flexible environment, but you also have a strong individual drive to deliver high quality results, on time. You have good communication and networking skills and are fluent in written and spoken English.
A few more details for you
This is a full time role (40 hours per week) located in Delft, Netherlands where you work most of the time at our office. You will report to the Managing Director but in everyday work be working on assignments from the Communication Leader and the Leader of the Knowledge Hub.
