The Global Test assignment is a part of the IKEA Range & Product Development organization, responsible to develop relevant, well performing and compliant products for all markets where IKEA is present. A very important part in this is to enable verification capabilities from development throughout the value chain.

• As Global Test Manager for IKEA of Sweden you will be accountable for ensuring both capabilities and capacity of our global network of internal and external verification lab partners which means to constantly monitor and improve their performance.
• The assignment includes a direct leadership for our IKEA Test Lab organization in Älmhult with a focus on development testing. It means a responsibility for both overall operations and the tactical development of the IKEA Test Lab.
• In this role you will be a part of the Management Team of Requirement Engineering and be an important contributor to strategic and tactical work

• A wide business perspective and external partnership experience (preferably from IKEA otherwise similar enterprise)
• Proven experience of product development, requirements and verification processes
• Good knowledge and experience of tactical and strategic leadership
• Knowledge of product development and verification principles and methods
• Experience of leadership on operational level
• A determined and proactive approach
• Abilities to take objective, fact-based decisions
• Abilities to build relationships and networks
• Goal orientation and ability to prioritize from a business perspective
•  Both good analytical as well as communicative skills
