Job Description

We are looking for a Development Project Manager to our team of project leaders, meeting different stakeholders within IKEA in regards to furniture component development and product development of IKEA Retail Equipment. Your assignment will be to lead and develop our team working as Development Project Leaders, which project assignment starts with a product brief connected to a new product development and ends when the first buy of the related components or products has been delivered. Through our great team you´ll be responsible to maintain and develop our cooperation with stakeholders, as well as you will be overall accountable for how we succeed in our project management. You will also be part of the Range & Engineering Development Management group within IKEA Components allowing you to contribute to our complete scope of engineering.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are highly motivated to lead and develop business and people together and enjoy working on a strategic, tactical and operational level. You have a high business interest and drive in building trustful relations. Ideally you have a university degree within engineering and some leadership experience. As a person you are down to earth, pragmatic solution orientated with a sparkling curiosity that will lead you forward. IKEA is a truly global environment, with colleagues from all over the world and therefore you need to speak and write in English. You have an ability to communicate clearly and are open minded, and how to build relations. You have an ability to communicate clearly with an open mindset and how to build relations with stakeholders, internal as well as external. You know how to make it happen!
