Also including all relevant product requirements and verification methods, throughout the product lifecycle and in close co-operation with relevant stakeholders throughout the value chain, acting on a global arena.

As a Product Requirement Engineer in our team, you will:
•    be responsible for the technical documentation package throughout the product life cycle
•    be responsible to continuously identify and create product requirements and connected verification methods based on customer needs and expectations
•    contribute to the development of product requirements based on legal and market specific requirements in existing and new sales markets
•    be part of a product development team and work in close co-operation with colleagues within the Business Area, as well as colleagues from other organizations/functions
•    follow-up on safety, quality and compliance performance 

To shine in this role, we wish you to have a University Degree in engineering, preferably in Textile, and solid technical experience from relevant field. You have experience in product development and/or creating and documenting product requirements as well as knowledge in certification and verification methods.

You have supply chain- and production knowledge and are skilled in requirement management. You can understand, translate and apply technical requirements in the product development process. IKEA of Sweden is a truly global environment, with colleagues from all over the world, therefore you need to be fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Additional Information

The position is placed in Älmhult, Sweden. As you know, Älmhult is the heart of IKEA and has commuting possibilities with hourly trains to Malmö, Lund and Växjö and an IKEA shuttle bus back and forth to Helsingborg three times a day.
