To support the journey, we created a digital transformation team setting the direction, guidelines and processes including execution and governance of digital communications across IKEA entities and channels. As part of this journey we are now looking for a Data Analyst to join our team.

Job Description

As Data Analyst, you will be part of a bold cross functional Product Team of digital entrepreneurs, UX designers, data scientists and engineers – jointly working on creating a better customer/coworker experience across IKEA and across channels.

You will embrace agile methodologies & be an ambassador for agile practices & product culture in your team and with transversal teams.

You are curious and open minded, naturally building bridges between teams. Unafraid of complex environments, you see them as an opportunity to clarify and simplify.

Your main responsibilities will be to :

  • Identify, analyse and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets by performing deep data analysis.
  • You are an advanced Google Analytics, Big Query user with knowledge of Content Square and AB Testing techniques.
  • Excellent knowledge of visualization techniques to communicate data in an easy and understandable way. 
  • Define and continuously develop analysis, advanced modelling techniques, testing and creating data reporting capabilities
  • Define and set measurements of Key Performance Indicators for your area
  • Work closely with the Engineering data team that is responsible to implement the data infrastructure
  • Working together with your Product Team to decide on priorities and maximize the impact on the business.

Qualifications

You keep yourself up to date with market trends and best practice within Data Analytics and you are strongly driven for turning data into Business Information. You have a university degree in Business Administration, Economics or a corresponding field, as well as deep knowledge of Business intelligence and analytical tools. You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.

  • You have some years of working experience from data analysis, where you’ve derived conclusions and consequences out of information and have helped the organization to gather new insights and make better decisions based on data and insights. 
  • Your analytical skills are excellent, and you can see the big picture as well as the details and can structure information in a good way. 
  • Data story telling is something you are familiar with and you excel in trying out new ways to share the insights in the best way to your targeted audience.
  • You have deep technical knowledge, and strong experience & capability in data analytics, being able to structure, prioritize and determine relevance and accuracy of information
  • You are able to communicate complex data in simple ways that are clear both written and verbal
  • You have strong ability to see patterns, derive conclusions & predict consequences of actions
  • You are a critical thinker, striving for simplicity, rationality and efficiency in solutions
  • You are able to organize and work independently as well as through others, you are collaborative and curious by nature
     

Additional Information

The location for this position is flexible; you could either work from our offices in Malmö or in Älmhult, depending on what suits you best.
