This includes a responsibility for selected components and raw material, which means develop, purchase and supply to IKEA suppliers. IKEA Components also have the assignment to provide After Sales service of components to the end customers. Our business is global and today employs 1400 people based mainly in Sweden, Slovakia and China. 

But that is not all, we are currently growing. By taking over the responsibility for IKEA retail equipment we are on a journey towards taking our assignment to the next step, creating a new IKEA business that is even more affordable, accessible and sustainable. The retail equipment range is an important part of the IKEA identity. It supports presenting, selling and handling of the IKEA product range, strengthens the IKEA Brand and helps visitors enjoy the full IKEA experience.

We are now looking for Global After Sales Manager

Job Description

We want you to lead the after sales global agenda at IKEA Component and secure excellent performance and growth. You will act as One Global After Sales Operations along our core processes, together with relevant functions and people contributing towards IKEA business objectives.

You will also lead and create BPL process for After Sales based on relevant IKEA strategies, directions and future customers needs. Organize, lead and encourage all involved with the aim to create growth by developing the business and people together. You will lead the implementation of the Business plan and secure the goal fulfilment and develop and build business competence within area of responsibility. 

Furthermore, you will be responsible to create budget for After Sales, follow up, act on deviations and profit and lost. Responsible to share in comprehensive way direction, actions and status to different stakeholders. 

Secure packaging and warehousing capacities agreed with category after sales short and long term and secure IKEA way of working and comply to country’s laws and regulations both on people and business.  You are also responsible for recruitment, develop, performance management, retention and succession plan for coworkers directly in her/his team and responsible for driving Leadership and Competence agenda, Identify gaps and needs in short and long term.

As a part of Global Operation Manage Team, contribute to identify and act upon cross-category synergies & opportunities; contribute to Material Strategy when applicable.
You will be a role model for the IKEA culture and values.

Please note that the position is placed in Älmhult, Sweden or in Malacky, Slovakia.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role we like you to inspire, Motivate and develop people.To have  the ability to communicate in a clear and comprehensive way both verbally and written. Be a self-driven and problem-solver and able to transform overall strategies and directions to local actions. 

Handling stakeholders in all part of the organization and understand their demands. Work cross functional and build long trust professional relationship. Be able to secure executive summary and lead in a constant change environment. Ability to evaluate ideas from a commercial viewpoint. Act as a coach motivating others, give clear direction and feedback.

Furthermore, you have:
•    University degree or corresponding knowledge acquired elsewhere. 
•    Good financial knowledge
•    Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
•    Experience from leading both Business and People
•    Good knowledge and experience of warehouse operations
•    Strong leadership skills and a genuine interest for people     
•    Strong business drive. 
•    Holistic perspective using tactical and strategic approaches. 
•    Good Ikea knowledge
