About the Job  

Do you want to be a part of a great team creating livestreamed events, digital meetings, broadcasts, and media production? Then this is it! In our broadcast studios we host everything from small digital meetings to high-end productions and we want you to be a part of everything from planning to hands on execution. You’re focus is to secure and operate great technical solutions that contributes to a well-functioning studio and digital events. During the event you will have an expert role, maybe you’re a great sound technician, video expert or a live producer. Together we build a great foundation for producing great events! 

As a Technical Specialist  you will:  

  • Develop and secure streaming and digital meetings solutions with focus on cost and high function and look for possible efficiencies within IKEA of Sweden through simple and cost-efficient ways of working.  
  • Monitor the development of technologies and system trends, and evaluate their possible business benefits for IKEA of Sweden  
  • Inspects, and directs testing and maintenance of studio, remote, and equipment to ensure operational performance meets company standards and rules and regulations.   
  • Secure involvements and dialog with external providers  
  • Support with planning, developing and delivering digital communication in the most effective, engaging, inspiring and relevant way.  
  • Secure hardware and broadcast equipment necessary to succeed with the assignment.   
  • Support as a producer, sound, light or video specialist in recordings, broadcasts or live events.  

Qualifications

As Technical Specialist you have an eagerness to learn, you enjoy being in the frontend, with enthusiasm you dig in to the latest and are happy sharing your findings with your colleagues. You are a person who has a passion for technical solutions and an eagerness to learn and develop in your profession through the needs from the business. You grow with and through your colleagues and in the same way your colleagues will grow through the influences from you. As a team you always have the business and the users´ needs in focus. With a strong personal leadership, you enjoy influencing and develop our way of working in an environment with a growing need of your expertise.    

Furthermore, you have:  

  • An extensive experience in broadcast and livestreamed event  
  • An excellent knowledge in live production, both audio, video and lightning  
  • An extensive knowledge in streaming software solutions.  
  • Knowledge in hardware to take right decisions for investing or renting.  
  • Knowledge of how to project lead (strategically, tactically, operationally) in an efficient and cost conscious way  
  • An ability to co-ordinate technical activities with both internal and external resources  
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
