Service Provider Operations Developer, Ocean category, South East Asia

(Location: Ho Chi Minh City)

About Job

The purpose of the job is to secure and continuously improve Service Provider's (SP) operational performance in all respects (as defined by set of relevant KPIs) within an agreed frame/conditions, and maximize the optimization potential related to SP's production costs - in close cooperation with business partners and relevant supply chain stakeholders within Supply Chain Operations (SCO), mainly with Supply Operations Developer function.

About the assignment

In your role you will be responsible to secure, manage and improve Service Provider's operational performance in all respects. We believe that together Supply Chain Stakeholder, you will build a professional and long term relationship with Service Provider by challenging and negotiate for optimal usage of agreed/available transport capacity vs. planned/needed capacity. You will identify the relevant actions of optimal share of spot bookings. You also take the lead in finding optimal solutions and secure needed capacity at lowest total cost

You will partner with Service Provider and continuously increase the competitiveness and on an everyday base work to optimise costs of Services Provider’s production. You will secure compliance in IKEA way of working (IWAY) and quality of equipment, safety and security, ect standards.

You will contribute to implement a new Service Provider setup, develop working methods and participate in transport procurement process.
