Job Description

As a Compensation & Benefits Specialist you are a strong contributor in the Range & Supply People & Culture team, using specialist competence in the context of Compensation and Benefits and knowledge of internal and external market to support the business leaders and People & Culture colleagues, securing that the P&C and Compensation and Benefits policies are executed in the most effective and efficient way.

The Compensation & Benefits agenda is based on Inter IKEA framework but locally applied according to country requirements and market situation. You as Compensation & Benefits Specialist will play an important part in cases when coordination or specific support is needed from an global perspective. 

Your main responsibilities will be to: 

  • Support the organization to put Compensation & Benefits in a context of Total rewards according to the Compensation and Benefits framework.
  • Develop new ways of working with position evaluation, based on a Job framework.
  • Cooperate closely with local People & Culture teams and Mobility Specialist around the world to secure compliance and alignment for the Inter IKEA Group framework.
  • Be responsible for training on Compensation & Benefits framework to local People & Culture teams.
  • Support in guidelines and giving recommendations within the Compensation & Benefits agenda. 
  • Take part of Workday implementation securing the Merit process and Compensation related business transactions for Range & Supply.
  • Collect internal and external data and conduct the analysis to provide support to People  & Culture Leaders and line managers in Compensation related questions; conduct and align position evaluations for Range & Supply globally.

Qualifications

Are you looking for a new challenge?

We believe that you have a proven track of experience from a similar role. Your educational background is within Human Resources or similar field. You are experienced in working with job evaluation methodology. Good knowledge of related HR processes and ways of working (eg. international recruitment, performance management etc) is a must. It is important that you have knowledge of pay structure and compensation programmes. 

As a person, you are analytical, structured and methodical. You have a good capability to handle and analyse quantitative data. You need to have strong integrity, be business oriented and you are excellent at building strong working relationships as you will interact and work together with IKEA colleagues from all around the world. You have good communication skills and you are fluent in English. Place of work can be discussed further in the process.
