Job Description

Regional Supply Team (RST) work in close cooperation with the Home Furnishing Businesses (HFB) in Range & Supply (R&S) and Supply Chain partners to secure product availability for our customers, ensure
smooth range change and commercial activities as well as secure optimal replenishment solutions and support expansion initiatives.

About the job

The purpose of the job is to ensure the highest product availability for a specified range for IKEA Stores and Distribution Centres by working closely with Supply Chain partners to plan and implement range changes. Monitors running range and support setting priorities between IKEA
Stores and Distribution Centres within the region in case of limited supply.

About you

  • University degree in logistics business administration or relevant working experience

  • Above 3 years of experience of Logistics or Supply Chain, ideally from IKEA

  • Good English communication capability both written and verbal

  • Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel

  • Analytical, structured and organised, ability to prioritise

  • Firm, proactive and fact based decision maker with the ability to escalate

  • Always strives to reach goals with a high level of energy and motivation

  • Ability to translate business needs across various business partners and functions

  • Leadership capabilities including high commitment to business goals by delivering results
    and make things happen

  • Enjoys a dynamic, action oriented team environment

  • Enjoys interacting with many different people and networks from within and outside IKEA

About the assignment

  • Follow up daily orders and manage need calculation exceptions in order to secure high
    availability

  • Provide accurate availability information to retail partners

  • Secure availability of agreed articles used in global and country activities by benchmarking with sales partners during the planning process, and following up delivery plans and acting on deviations

  • Secure that replenishment solution changes are executed in an optimal way

  • Initiate sales steering activities concerning regional overstock or shortages in cooperation
    with sales partners

  • Ensure smooth range change for both NEWS and Discontinued according to the Product Change
    Dates (PCD)

  • Give input to replenishment solutions for new and existing logistic units

  • Proactively work with inventory to secure in cooperation with Supply Chain partners a healthy
    stock structure on Distribution Centre Group (DCG) level in order to keep total IKEA costs as low as possible

  • Assume responsibility, take the lead for other tasks, projects and reference groups as assigned
