Job Description

Market Developer is responsible to develop relations and market activities with concerned HFS and IKEA Purchasing and to secure that the development and performance are according to agreed actions and goals.

Major job assignments:

  • Secure and develop the HFS purchase of components and continuously improve our offer

  • Build close business partnership with HFS/IKEA  Purchasing

  • Overall responsible to develop market activities for IKEA HFS with classification partners, prioritized and potential prioritized

  • Set common goals and action plans together with IKEA Purchasing. Create network and secure common agenda with relevant internal stakeholders, in order to develop the business, maximise IKEA benefit and achieve our goals

  • Lead the offer process based on the collected DNE from HFS

  • Monitor competitors on the market to secure competitiveness

  • Responsible to prepare and secure Sales agreement package

  • Be an IKEA Component Ambassador

  • Handle market share, sales price set-up and negotiation with HFS

Qualifications

1. Manufacturing & sales background is a plus
2. Excellent communication and networking skills
3. Multi-national company background
4. Fluent English in both oral and written (Chinese will be a plus)
5. Strong driving with result-oriented
6. Excellent analystic skills & project mgm experience
7. Strong team player
8. Willingness for frequent travel (around 60-80 days per year) both domestic and international
9. Easy going
