How about a once-in-a-lifetime writing gig that will change your life? Well… we’re looking for talented copywriters and wordsmiths who want to be a part of one of the most well-known brands in the world.   

We’re searching for eight new colleagues to join our already existing team of five copywriters at IKEA Communications in Älmhult, Sweden. Together you’ll form a brand-new competence centre for copywriting excellence, in the very heartland of IKEA.

Who we are:

At IKEA Communications, a 330+ strong bunch of great people from 30+ countries do global communication for IKEA, reaching every part of the globe. We work with global content for IKEA.com, the IKEA Catalogue, IKEA Ideas, News, PR launches and much more, alongside development of new ways of reaching the many people, such as VR, AR and MR. And of course loads of stuff we can’t talk about in an ad.

Qualifications

Who you are:

We’re looking for copywriters of all levels and talents: SEO, creative & strategic concepts, editorial & marketing copy, social media, snappy headlines and everything in between. People who know their English backwards and forwards (well, forwards at least). People who understand when words are necessary and when they're not—and how to tailor their writing to different media.

You have anywhere from 2-7+ years of experience in one of these areas, or better yet, all of them. You’re a thinker who is self-motivated, adaptable, talented and passionate about collaboration. You have a proof-reader’s mind and a keen eye. You have innovative ideas and you’re not afraid to question things, eloquently of course. You’re focused on meeting your deadlines but willing to lend a hand when needed.

Please note that this position is in Älmhult, Sweden, home of IKEA.
