IKEA Business Solution Range & Supply is a part of IKEA of Sweden and deliver expertise in business development as well as securing the running business. The system landscape is grouped into different Solution Areas and today the Solution Area “Order & Delivery” supports more than 15 000 users throughout Supplying in the areas of Order, Customs and Delivery & Settlement.

We are now looking for a Solution Owner for Customs.

Customs is a dynamic area with a high business impact. IKEA must be compliant with legal restrictions and regulations in order for goods to flow smoothly across borders keeping our customers all around the world happy.

The solutions needs to provide accurate and effective support for export/import of goods in existing and new markets, product compliance filing in relation to delivery of goods as well as security filing, in an environment with increasing and accelerating demand for compliance with laws and regulations.

Our co-workers in Customs Solution team plays an important part enabling this. They are experts in the systems connected to customs and support the development of new solutions, as well as securing the running business.

You will as Solution Owner be part of Customs Solution team in Älmhult and be responsible for solutions within a geographical area (EU, NA, AP, ME or RU). You will be part of transformation projects, responsible for leading and securing optimal utilization of implemented solutions and support development of IT-related business needs within Customs.

Your assignment is to…
Ensure that the users of the solution have a relevant, user friendly and reliable solution that helps them achieve their business goals. The Solution Owner has the best knowledge within IKEA of the solution from a business functionality perspective.

Be accountable for development, release management, life cycle management and the operation of the solution(s), business continuity and business support.

Lead continuous improvement of the solution(s).

Be responsible to create and maintain a solution roadmap.

Manage budget for the assigned solution(s), provide budget input for the solution area, follow up & review forecasts and accruals.

Lead/participate in governance forums;
• Solution (e.g. Change Control Board)
• Supplier (Software and/or Application Maintenance and Support vendors)

Secure established ways of working for the solution(s).

Manage key stakeholder expectations through strong relationships. Interact with super users, process and business functions, Application Maintenance & Support vendors and software suppliers (tactical & operational discussions), Operations & Shared Service, Architecture and other relevant functions.

Responsible for solution compliance with rules and standards (e.g. information security) and legal/regulatory requirements as well as adherence to relevant customs process standards.

Secure competence development and training related to your solutions.

Secure and maintain Super User network.
