We know Lean – we want you to develop it further. As our IPS Concept Leader (IKEA Production System) your primary function and responsibility is to plan and drive the development of IPS in IKEA Industry as well as other parts of IKEA. You will have the holistic view of IPS concept including training and implementation concepts and you are a great coordinator. By facilitate audits and cross unit benchmark, you will also coach and challenge senior managers, being a change driver for IKEA Industry reaching our goals regarding Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.

You belong to a team of 35 skilled change agents and is a part of the team’s management group. The position will be located in the IKEA Industry office in Malmö and includes lot of travelling. You report to the IKEA Industry Lean & Quality manager.
Qualifications

We are looking for you who have the ability to take actions, leading change and deliver result. You are business minded with a good experience and ability to explain and drive Lean implementation initiatives within an industrial environment. You have a good deep knowledge of Lean thinking, methods and tools. You have good pedagogic skills with an ability to explain, communicate and teach methods and tools in a simple way
To be successful in this role you :
- Need to have experience from leading other people, as project leader or other management positions, preferably in a global production company
- Need to have a University degree in Engineering or equivalent knowledge
- Lean production is of great interest of you
- Can easily grasp the bigger picture, but you also pay attention to details and have a structured way of working
- As a person are interactive and communicative
- Like to work cross-border and lead through people
- We will support you but you need to be self-motivated with a willingness to drive and develop your area of responsibility
- Like us, you are driven by the IKEA Values.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal is a requirement, additional language skills are a plus.
