We are now looking for a Communication Specialist who shares our passion and wants to team up and together with us create simple but yet sharp and inspirational communication. Your main responsibility will be to secure graphical production and within this area take lead, challenge and develop our communication platform and contribute in content creation. You will belong to the Communication team, a small and dedicated group of curious people, and will work closely with people from across the organization.

About the job
As NB&I Communication Specialist with focus on graphical production you will secure the graphical identity of NB&I and develop the Communication platform to enable a high quality in our communication material. You will have an active role in enabling an environment of dialogue and collaboration in line with the IKEA innovation culture, recognising achievements and learning’s in the organisation. Together with the team you will strengthen the IKEA Innovation culture by capturing and sharing stories about key innovation projects that are prioritized in our communication plan.

As a NB&I Communication Specialist you will:
• Work closely with the leaders in NB&I to understand the business needs and support in translating these into needed communication material
• Be responsible to plan, develop and implement various communication packages based on the NB&I communication plan
• Produce communication material in line with the IKEA Innovation approach (Big Problem/Relevant for the many people/Ideas & Technology/ Learning & Solution)
• Work with content for a high variety of channels and purposes (decision councils, business plan events, web, news app, etc).
• Work with graphics, text, pictures and infographics, as well as templates and elements enabling others to create great communication material.

Qualifications

About you
• The job requires good understanding of internal and strategic communication and how communication support and enable the business.
• You are a good listener and have strong coaching skills with the ability to consult and challenge leaders to understand the underlying needs and to come up with solutions and alternatives.
• You have a holistic view with an eye for the details, always with simplicity in mind. You have a strong graphic eye and ability and you area also a confident writer with the ability to turn strategic messages into clear, simple and inspiring communication.
• You enjoy working in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment and stay calm when you get assignments with short notice and tight deadlines.
• You are fluent in English, written and spoken.
• You build trustworthy relationships and is a person with strong integrity and can handle confidential and sensitive information in a discrete and responsible manner. 
• You act as a role model for the IKEA values in your daily work and have a genuine interest in people’s everyday life at home.

Älmhult has excellent commuting possibilities with hourly trains to Malmö, Lund and Växjö and an IKEA shuttle bus back and forth to Helsingborg three times a day.
