Right now were looking for our next Business Navigator to join us at Business Area Textiles at IKEA of Sweden.
Job Description
The Business Navigator position requires passion for, and ability to spot, the business opportunities behind the data. This paired with an analytical and business driven mind-set with the responsibility of creating insights, translating figures into opportunities and validating and enabling fact based decision making within the Business Area. The Business Navigator leads performance management in all performance areas, in all dimensions and project portfolio management from business planning to execution in order to ensure goal achievement. The Business Navigator is an active Business partner to teams and decision makers and leads with fact based insights and active risk management as well as scenario planning and modelling.
The Business Navigator is responsible for:
• Performance management of the product range within the Business Area through analyzing and creating insights, identifying opportunities and improvement areas and actively sharing these.
• Influencing and enabling fact based decision making through quickly generating calculations, models and estimations based on market, consumer and business insights.
• Identifying opportunities and risks through scenario planning, modelling, risk assessments and contingency planning.
• Facilitating a strong performance culture where deviations are detected early and insights from business performance reach the right receiver at the right time.
• Leading and coordinating different processes, i.e. range dimensioning, internal pricing and sales and supply planning across the Business area.
• Range management on an overall business level; securing long term planning of range size and securing compliance to range frames and dimensions.
• Leading project and portfolio management on overall level.

The Business Navigator position is a challenging and rewarding position with impact on the current and future business of textiles. We are looking for goal oriented persons with the ability to implement, deliver results and follow up. Leadership capability, ability to create clarity, and strong analytical skills is a must, as is having both a holistic view and an eye for details. This paired with communicative skills above the ordinary, making sure that you can get your message across regardless of topic and audience. You are humble, have willpower and the ability to create togetherness and enthusiasm around you. You are flexible, used to handling changes and are always striving for simplicity in everything you do. You work proactively, take initiative and have the creative ability to find new solutions and optimize and challenge the existing ones.
Experience from informal leadership and coaching others is needed. You preferably have experience from working within navigation, and an understanding of the IKEA business model and value chain. As a base you have an academic degree within finance, business administration, economics or similar. You have sound knowledge of calculation systems, MS office package and reporting tools as well as experience of business information tools such as Qlikview.
