Our goal is to better align and market these products for our existing and future customers.

Each year insightsoftware targets the acquisition of 2-4 companies. Our goal as a company is to continue to integrate and align as a global organization.

Backend Software Engineer

Insightsoftware is looking for a Senior backend software engineer to translate application storyboards and use-cases into functional applications.

The ideal candidate should have a knack for writing clean, readable code. This critical role would require the ability to gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and the scope of development.

We provide powerful tools to our clients which empower enterprises and organizations in business planning, consolidation, and performance monitoring.

Our Engineering team

Our engineers participate in all phases of the application development lifecycle, focusing on design, coding and keeping the production platform up and running.

Our technical stack is Java with Spring Boot and Hibernate frameworks, SQL, ORM, JPA, Vue.js, JavaScript, SCSS, Amazon Web Services, Maven
 

This is What You Will do in This Role:

• Assist in developing and maintaining backend applications using Spring Boot.
• Participate in the design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.
• Work closely with senior developers and team leads to understand project requirements.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code.
• Debug and resolve application issues under guidance.
• Contribute to code reviews and improve coding standards.

Who we are looking for :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on Spring Boot .
• Basic understanding of Spring Boot and object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices concepts.
• Exposure to relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL.
• Knowledge of tools like Git and basic CI/CD processes is a plus.
• Strong eagerness to learn and grow in backend development.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
