Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic and experienced senior analyst for cash applications to join our finance team.  As part of our team, you reconcile account receivables & perform  post payments reconciliation. You create monthly reports for relevant stakeholders and management, observing all relevant regulations. Our ideal candidate is a motivated problem-solver who can collaborate effectively on larger teams and possesses accurate data entry skills and an eye for detail.

What will you do?

• Process and reconcile account receivables and remittances.
• Prepare daily bank postings, monthly bank reconciliations, and preparation of monthly journals.
• Invoice application in the required ERP.
• Follow up on unapplied payments.
• Processing refunds, transfer & reporting different dash boards.
• Ensure customer queries are replied to within the required SLA.
• Focus on day-to-day duties related to cash application, merchant accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Interact extensively across all functional teams within insightsoftware  and assist as queries arise.
• Perform month closing activities.
• Create regular reports to accurately track financial information.
• Perform periodic audits of the general ledger and company financial documents.
• Balance cash to bank.
• Address payment issues like double payments or other discrepancies.
• Engage in collection management processes as necessary.
• Recording and reconciling AR payments.
• Producing reports (as required by management).

 Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in finance or accounting preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in Cash Applications.
• Exceptional work ethic and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to broader team objectives.
• Ability to multitask and manage time amid multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively.
• Self-starter who can take on responsibility with little oversight.
• Ability to work in shifts.
