Job Description

A self-motivated individual desiring to play an integral part in a growing insightsoftware product line. Power ON, which extends Power BI's functionality by providing write back capability.  As a member of the Professional Services team, you will be providing the following services to our Enterprise customers and partners:

  • Take part in pre-install, architectural discussions. This includes the participation to calls with the IT teams of some of the largest organisation in the world
  • Install and configure Power ON solutions in the client’s environment, this is done through web meetings during which you are providing the guidance to the customer and lead them to a successful installation and configuration.
  • Troubleshoot and solve infrastructure related issues
  • Provide advice to our teams, partner and our customers to optimize the performance of their Power ON solutions.
  • Participate to the preparation of customer proposals for professional services related to the provision of  installation/infrastructure/optimization services.
  • Collaborate across teams, enhance services process

Qualifications

Technical Skills (6-8 years of experience required)

  • Installation and configuration of complex solutions in the client’s environment
    • Deploying .NET applications to App Services in Azure
    • Install on Windows server
  • Authentication Experience: AAD, OAuth, Windows Authentication ((NTLM/Kerberos), MSI
  • Troubleshooting, including  Analyze logs (Event viewer, .NET logs, various trace sources) and Use browser's developer tools
  • SQL Server and SSAS (tabular mode), including configuring service and firewall
  • IIS manager and web.config
  • Windows Server including AD, Firewall and Services
  • Azure Administration (AAD, App Services, App Registrations, SQL & AAS services)
  • Powerbi.com, Power BI Report Server administration
  • Power BI Gateway administration experience
  • Some experience with non-Microsoft data sources required (Snowflake, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Synapse, Big Query)

 

Non-Technical Skills

  • Strong organizational skills
  • The ability to ramp up quickly, strong sense of ownership, and a bias for action.
  • Excellent written and Spoken English, for frequent communications with customers' and partners' multinational teams
  • An advanced English vocabulary on IT technical terms.
  • Availability to work Eastern Standard Time hours.
  • Ability to handle workload with a sense of urgency
  • Reliability
  • The patience to work with customers that will require guidance / coaching.

 

Education:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
