Position Description

The Associate Project Manager will build positive relationships with customers and serve as the primary point of contact for our product Implementation processes. It is the Project manager’s responsibility to provide successful implementation of our products across the business, build an ongoing relationship with the customer and manage additional projects and products.

The Project Manager will be responsible for providing overall customer leadership. The role requires strong communication skills and an ability to multi-task under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Foster positive relationships with our customers as their primary point of contact during the entire Implementation process
• Engage with our technical team and customer to ensure the solution is successfully implemented
• Develop a deep understanding of our products
• Provide Implementation project guidance
• Provide customer product feedback to Product Management and Engineering
• Conduct scheduled meetings with the prospect including kick-off, weekly checkpoint, and final wrap-up meetings
• Conduct regular meetings with internal stakeholders before, during, and after each Implementation
• Coordinate other our resources (Engineering, PSO) that may be critical to the Implementation process
• Provide implementation scoping and effort development
• Assist customers focus on their goals and drive the Implementation towards a successful conclusion

Position Qualifications:

Experience Level: 6 to 9 Years

Skill Requirements

• • Project management experience in Professional Services/ Managed Services Setup.
  • 4-6 Years in the role of project manager/associate project manager
  • Experience in financial product/software implementation preferred.
  • Thorough professional and proven track record of succeeding in a goal-driven environment.
  • Understanding or hands-on experience in data integration or data migration projects
  • Excellent customer management skills
  • Strong analytical problem-solving ability, organizational skills, and project management.
  • Highly responsible, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in excel and power point, project management best practices, and project management tools
  • Understanding of project implementation lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply knowledge in a dynamic environment.
  • PMP or Agile Certification is a plus
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in collaborating with customer, project team across in onshore/offshore model.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with high level of accuracy and attention to details.
• Significant, recent experience (3+ years) in managing and delivering IT implementation/business change projects in complex and challenging environments.
• Proven track record in the delivery of complicated projects; experience in working closely with customers, senior stakeholders, external parties, and project teams.
• Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, PMP and other project management methodologies.
• Experience in working with external customers, preferably in a Professional Services or related environment.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and strong professionalism. 

Preferred (but not required) qualifications:

• PMP / PRINCE2 Certification 
• Experience implementing ERP Financials (EBS, Peoplesoft, JDE, SAP)
