Job Description
As the Director of CRM Applications, you deliver high quality solutions to enable peak productivity for insightsoftware’s Sales and Customer Support organizations. You own and guide the applications portfolio management and applications lifecycle activities for the Sales and Customer Support applications tech stack. You closely partner with Sales and Support leaders to establish CRM product roadmaps and provide strategic leadership of highly complex or enterprise-wide programs to optimize CRM tools and applications with responsibility from inception to completion. You collaborate with stakeholders and your team to drive change management efforts that enhance productivity by promoting new and improved tools and processes and best practices. As a member of the IT senior leadership team, reporting to the CIO, the Director of CRM Applications is an influential role, making investment and priority trade-off decisions, negotiating, and managing vendor contracts, and recruiting, retaining, and developing a high performing CRM applications team.
- Establishes relationships and works with key stakeholders in the business
- Builds and leads a high performing applications team (12+ team members)
- Cultivates a culture of teamwork, empowerment, professional development, continuous improvement and a mindset to drive projects to completion
- Implements and manages applications in line with SDLC, PDLC, and APM best practices
- Works with internal customers to prioritize and manage a pipeline of application improvement efforts
- Works to identify solutions to reduce cycle time, automate manual steps, implement controls to improve data quality, and improve end-user experience
- Evaluates and selects software that best fits the company’s needs
- Estimates and operates within a set fiscal year budget

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10 years of related experience
- 2 Years of people management experience
- Holds Salesforce certifications
- Experience leading global Salesforce applications support and development teams using agile methodologies
- Experience managing complex Salesforce environments leveraging DevOps best practices
- Experience leading Salesforce application implementation projects
- Demonstrated experience in leading large teams through complex change management initiatives across multiple departments and geographies
- Experience working with start-ups or high-growth / PE-backed companies will be of substantial benefit
- A passion for understanding your customers’ needs, and how we can best address them
- Ability to exhibit strong interpersonal skills and build relationships across the business, at all-levels, and with professionals outside the business
