Job Description
We are seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead our sales team focused on selling insightsoftware’s Financial Reporting, Business Planning and Operational Reporting solutions in the APAC Region. This critical position will be responsible for leading a team of 5 Account Executives who are predominately new business focused through Direct and Indirect Channels.
Reporting to the VP APAC Sales the chosen candidate must be a self-starter and lead the team to exceed quota whilst driving pipeline generation activities. They will also be highly capable of developing and managing executive relationships with customers and partners by conducting business driven discussions, whilst also lead negotiation planning, strategy and execution. The candidate should have a solid understanding of reporting and business intelligence solutions.
What will you do?
- Manage a direct sales team to deliver software bookings goal
- Provide accurate forecasting both on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Work in conjunction with Professional Services team to drive services revenue into the region
- Develop and coach a specialist team of expert sellers to meet the highest standards of sales process and success.
- identify and Manage new and existing partners to drive revenue through a co-selling motion.
- Direct sales activities, prioritize efforts, and hold the team accountable for building pipeline and executing each phase of the sales cycle.
- Drive a structured MEDDIC process with deal management.
- Coach and mentor sales team to uncover customer needs, develop champions, present specific use cases, demonstrate the differentiated value of insightsoftware products and services, and negotiate favourable pricing and terms by selling value and return on investment.
- Working in a fast-paced environment closing both large strategic and smaller transactional deal sizes

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong experience in Software Solution sales with strong leadership experience managing indirect and direct sales teams
- ERP or Financial Reporting familiarity with ideally an understanding of the Dynamics ecosystem)
- Understanding of Reporting and Business Intelligence solutions
- Up to 20% travel
- Ability to work from home
