Job Description

The Directof of Sales Compensation and BI will play a critical role in establishing and scaling best-in-class sales compensation and BI processes across the insightsoftware portfolio. They will also play a key role to lead the integration of compensation and BI activities for acquired businesses. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the Sales Incentive planning and design process by creating the compensation plans and programs inclusive of quotas,  territory design, accelerators and competitive benchmarking
  • Advise business leaders and sales executive leadership team on matters related to global compensation including job/role review, motivators, sales incentives design and administration
  • Define standard operating procedures and policies related to the annual compensation program and perform change management across all impacted groups
  • Manage and develop a team of professionals responsible for plan administration and field support, systems development, metrics, and reporting
  • Work closely with commissions, payroll and FP&A functions to ensure accurate budgeting and payouts
  • Report on key sales performance metrics including bookings, quota attainment and forecasting
  • Prioritize multiple work projects, delivering simultaneous data analysis requests of varying sizes and scope
  • Provide recommendations along with credible data that supports the recommendation
  • Proven team play, working effectively across all Business Units and Departments.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 7+ years of related experience in defining and scaling Sales Incentive planning and plan administration function
  • Software industry experience preferred 
  • Outstanding analytical capabilities and ability to distill large data sets into meaningful information
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication, organization and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and simultaneously manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines; outstanding project management and time management skills
  • Proven track record of success in Sales Analytics/Ops and effectively implementing tools and processes to enhance the function
  • Innovative, creative mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and leaders across the organization
