Job Description
Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Maintenance Technician II contribute to our manufacturing team in LaVergne, TN outside of Nashville. The Maintenance Tech II, under limited supervision, responsible for performing complex diagnostics and repairs, relating to distribution center facilities and equipment. Ensures that all equipment in the distribution center facility is maintained properly, by performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain facility equipment to OEM standards. Schedule:
C Shift: Sunday-Tuesday 7pm-7am + every other Saturday 7pm-7am
D Shift: Thursday-Saturday 7pm-7am + every other Wednesday 7pm-7am
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years in a facility maintenance position, with 2+ years in electrical repair.
- 2 years conveyor maintenance and repair experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Good understanding of facility electrical wiring and power distribution.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and prints.
- Electrical troubleshooting ability, with understanding of AC/DC control wiring and relay logic.
- Advanced understanding of PLC.
- Ability to create Preventative Maintenance and training documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate equipment failures and provides complex emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment.
- Ensure repairs and equipment downtime does not negatively impact the ability to meet service level agreements.
- Perform complex technical duties, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production/facility machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services.
- Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and makes necessary repairs; reporting any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Operate motorized equipment as necessary for driving and repairs to include forklift, order selector, pallet jack, floor sweeper, etc.
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintains a clean and orderly work area.
- Helps maintain documentation for facility and equipment.
