Job Description

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Legal Services Specialist to support our legal team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville.  In this role you will provide legal assistance and administrative support primarily to the Chief Legal Officer, and to other members of the Legal Department as requested.  You’ll assist with preparation and execution of contracts and amendments.  You will also maintain hard-copy files for Ingram Content Group companies.  Your role will include serving as a superuser of, and helping to operate and maintain, the Contract Management System.  You’ll handle all legal billing from outside sources, and will also field calls into Legal from third parties.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or relevant training or 2 years’ relevant experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience using MS Office Suite
  • Experience doing administrative assistant work

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operates as intake for general legal questions and requests for legal services to include searching files for similar or same past requests, evaluating completeness of request, following up if request is not complete, obtaining information regarding requests and forwarding completed requests to attorneys.
  • Takes outside calls, helps to research, trouble shoot and resolve issues, and summarizes for attorneys.
  • Monitors Legal email and copyright notices and assists with resolving issues.
  • Maintains hard-copy and electronic filing systems for Legal Department, including input into and maintenance of files in Law Track. 
  • Helps maintain and operate Contract Management Tool. 
  • Maintains files with original documents in the safe. 
  • Assists in preparing and executing contracts and amendments.
  • Maintains current knowledge of standard terms of business and revises contractual language when necessary.
