Job Description
Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Sales Data Analyst to contribute to our Lightning Source (LS) team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville. In this role, you will improve the discoverability, availability and conversion of Lightning Source’s 14 million titles into Ingram Content Group’s wholesale catalog. You will work with different business owners across the company to ensure the accuracy, persistence, and optimization of the LS Catalog. You’ll lead projects and recommend business solutions to ensure LS titles are optimized across all global selling channels with complete, accurate and enhanced data. In addition, you’ll leverage predictive analytics to drive strategic thought and effective decision making for marketing of the LS Catalog. Finally, in this role you will ensure proper descriptions, tags, and key words are appropriate for all sales avenues including direct selling by publishers, bricks and mortar retail, international and foreign language, online, and marketplace selling.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (e.g., statistics, business, finance/economics, sales, or marketing analytics)
- 5 years minimum experience in online, retail or sales analysis or related book selling field
Preferred Skills:
- Experience using MS Office, particularly Excel
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs active Downstream analysis of Ingram Book Company/Lightning Source data feeds to identify gaps, errors, and opportunities that will increase discoverability and sales of Lightning Source titles.
- Works with Manager to perform financial ROI modeling/analysis to identify value creation opportunities that provide demonstrated payback to both the publisher and Ingram.
- Collaborates with global counterparts to implement global data solutions.
- Develops and influences the execution of strategic plans using actionable intelligence in support of business case development, pricing, and new market expansion through reporting and financial analysis of sales and operational data.
- Interprets data to provide insight into customer segments and behaviors and identify critical customer knowledge gaps and trends and recommends opportunities for further customer growth.
- Explores and implements process enhancements to improve efficiency and continue monitoring existing processes.
