Job Description
Role Summary
The Sales Support Executive fulfils a pivotal role in ensuring Sales Support Managers, Sales Reps and Agents have the data required to drive revenue across commercial operations. Responsible for providing support to Sales Managers across our Commercial Regions.

Key Accountabilities
- Managing the appropriate Sales Support inbox day to day – Handling queries, help requests, report requests etc.
- Build, produce, and disseminate reports (daily, weekly, monthly, ad hoc) to drive revenue and support commercial operations.
- Proactively manage customer enquiries, ensuring timely and satisfactory outcomes.
- Administer and optimise digital systems (BMIS, ISIS, Salesforce) and related T&F systems.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required (e.g., Hachette, Credit Control) to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with Sales Support Coordinators and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and continuity across sales support tasks.
- Create and maintain detailed training guides/work instructions for sales support tasks to ensure continuity and assist with any potential new onboarding.
- This role reports to the Head of Sales APAC and Sales Operations Manager. To update on current business environment, raising or escalating issues as required whether this be workload or supplier related.
- Prioritise tasks aligned with business needs, and foster a collaborative, learning-oriented team environment.
- Encourage team innovation, use insights for improvement, and reflect on outcomes for future learning.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Sales Operations Manager.
- Facilitate smooth running of external events or book fairs at regional locations, ensuring effective coordination and support.
Qualifications
- Experience in publishing or sales support environments.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, and other T&F specific systems e.g. BMIS, ISIS, SalesForce, Bazinga where appropriate.
- Understanding roles within the publishing industry and awareness of overseas markets and cultural differences.
- Knowledge of system administration and process optimisation.
- Proficiency in system administration, commercial awareness, and market understanding.
- Awareness of industry trends and best practices.
