Job Description

We are looking for a Content Executive to join the Cannes Lions Content team, with a dedicated focus on our interactive content. This role sits within the Content Team and will be responsible for curating, programming and delivering a schedule of highly engaging, participatory sessions designed to drive audience connection, experimentation and energy across the Festival. 

This is a fast-paced, highly creative role that blends editorial judgment with live event delivery, working closely with speakers, partners and internal teams in the lead-up to Cannes and on site. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Support programming a high-quality schedule on the Terrace that balances inspiration, learning and participation, including workshops, roundtables, performances and experimental formats 

  • Work with the wider content team to translate call for content submissions into compelling Terrace sessions 

  • Proactively identify gaps in the schedule and support the pitching, outreach and confirmation of speakers, facilitators and contributors 

  • Work with partners and hosts to shape their ideas into strong, audience-first sessions that align with LIONS editorial values 

  • Produce clear guidelines and briefing materials to help hosts and contributors deliver great Terrace experiences 

  • Manage timelines and production milestones to ensure all Terrace content is confirmed, briefed and delivered on time 

  • Apply a rigorous editorial lens to ensure sessions are high-impact, well-structured and distinctive 

  • Support on-site delivery at Cannes Lions, including speaker management, run of show and live troubleshooting for Terrace sessions 

  • Uphold and strengthen LIONS’ commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion through content choices, formats and speaker line-ups 

Qualifications

About you 

  • Strong editorial instincts, with a clear point of view on what makes great live content and how to make it more engaging 

  • Experience in working at fast-paced events 

  • Confident working with speakers, partners and senior stakeholders to shape ideas into high-quality sessions 

  • Highly organised and calm under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple moving parts and tight deadlines 

  • Curious about formats and experiences, with an interest in how audiences engage with content in new ways
