Job Description
We're looking for a creative and data-driven social media expert with a passion for crafting impactful campaigns.
Join our team to lead the social media strategy for our events in Portfolio 2, such as the Global Health Exhibition, and build awareness of Saudi events on an international stage while driving engagement and community growth.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy and Execution:
- Design and deliver targeted social media strategies for global health campaigns, ensuring alignment with international and local marketing objectives.
- Build and manage social media calendars, tailoring content strategies for each platform (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Snapchat, TikTok, and YouTube).
- Develop and execute platform-specific plans for visitor campaigns, optimizing conversions and engagement.
Content Creation and Copywriting:
- Create impactful, audience-focused, and insight-driven content, demonstrating excellence in copywriting and proofreading.
- Provide engaging text, image, and video content for social media accounts, ensuring all posts maintain the brand voice and resonate with the target audience.
- Research and incorporate trending topics to create relatable and shareable content.
Community Management:
- Foster a sense of community by engaging with followers, responding to comments and queries in a timely manner, and ensuring members feel valued.
- Monitor and maintain the growth and health of the community, ensuring it delivers value to its members.
Performance Analysis and Optimization:
- Employ a metrics-driven approach to assess the performance of social media campaigns, focusing on meaningful KPIs such as reach, shares, private message interactions, and follower growth.
- Prepare monthly performance reports, analyse data, and optimise content strategies based on insights.
- Pivot strategies as needed to address low engagement or changing campaign priorities.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with internal departments, freelancers, and creative agencies to ensure cohesive messaging and execution.
- Brief teams on key messages, campaign priorities, and deliverables, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.
- Act as the voice of the customer, relaying insights and feedback to the wider marketing team.
Market Research and Trend Analysis:
- Conduct market research to understand customer behavior, competitor strategies, and emerging trends.
- Stay updated on social media platform changes and best practices, ensuring strategies remain innovative and effective.
Qualifications
Experience:
- Significant experience as a Social Media Marketing Specialist, ideally within a social media agency or managing international campaigns.
- Proven track record of managing social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Snapchat, TikTok, and YouTube.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Strong copywriting and proofreading skills, with a high level of English and Arabic proficiency.
- Experience in creating and managing social media strategies, including content planning, execution, and reporting.
Personal Attributes:
- A social media marketeer with a strong understanding of local and international social media trends.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliverables.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimise strategies accordingly.
