We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our Orion delivery team in Lisbon. Orion is a strategic platform supporting the control and supervision of non-financial risk.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services
• Contribute to the evolution and architecture of the Orion platform
• Deliver core features and entity-specific enhancements
• Ensure high code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
• Identify and implement technical improvements (performance, security, scalability)
• Support deployments and contribute to production stability

• Strong experience with Java (8+)
• Proven experience with Spring / Spring Boot
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
• Understanding of non-functional requirements (performance, security, scalability)

• Experience in banking or financial services
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
