Job Description

The successful candidate will join one of the key data transformation programs, aimed at migrating the analytics landscape from on-premise solutions to a modern platform based on Google Cloud Platform.

The project involves building a scalable data architecture and data model from scratch, designed to maximize business value and enhance Customer Experience. The team works with large volumes of data, integrating multiple sources and designing processing pipelines for both batch and near real-time (streaming) scenarios.

An important aspect of the work is also implementing data governance standards, ensuring data quality and security, and building full data lineage.

Main Tasks

  • Organize, manage, and maintain the Data Catalog (including data dictionaries, KPIs, metadata, and data ownership)
  • Define the Catalog structure, metadata model, relationships between object types, and data management processes
  • Support users in searching and utilizing data from the Catalog; provide consultations, training sessions, and workshops
  • Ensure high data quality within the Data Catalog by developing processes and standards
  • Analyze new requirements and implement solutions based on the Data Catalog; participate in data-related development initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with both business and technical stakeholders

Qualifications

Must-have Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in developing and maintaining enterprise Data Catalogs
  • Hands-on experience with a corporate Data Catalog tool such as Collibra
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience in data analysis and data modeling

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience with Big Data technologies and/or Data Warehousing
  • Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Tableau)
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good command of English, enabling work in an international environment
