Job Description

We are seeking an experienced OPC Corporate Senior Officer to lead the implementation and oversight of Operational Permanent Control (OPC) frameworks at a central level. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the effectiveness of first-line defense controls across the Wealth Management business line, driving compliance, risk management, and operational excellence through strategic policy implementation and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and oversee the Group’s Operational Permanent Control Framework within Wealth Management, including the definition of key processes, units, and generic risks
  • Design and pilot the control framework and generic control plans, providing guidance to first-line defense teams and management on control campaigns
  • Execute and support control activities related to WM GAIM Head Office operations, including control exemption exercises and cross-check controls
  • Manage historical incidents for Head Office functions, analyze failures, and reconcile control data against Finance records to ensure accuracy and accountability
  • Establish and maintain operational frameworks to track findings, recommendations, and permanent control actions, consolidating inputs from multiple stakeholders
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for governance bodies (e.g., Internal Control Committee (ICC) and Operational Risk & Control reports), ensuring proper validation by management
  • Actively participate in key committees, including the Permanent Control Committee (PCC) and the WM GAIM Conduct & Ethics Board, contributing strategic insights and recommendations
  • Support audit requests and coordinate responses across the business line, ensuring timely and high-quality documentation

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Banking, Risk Management, or a similar relevant field
  • Proven experience in Permanent Control or Risk Management within Financial Services or Private Banking (mandatory)
  • Solid understanding of financial instruments and processing systems
  • English: Fluent / Expert (mandatory)
  • French: Intermediate level (preferred)
  • Team-oriented with the ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
