Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Exchange On-Premises to join our IT team. The Exchange On-Premises Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the customer’s on-premises Microsoft Exchange environment. This includes ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the email system, as well as providing support and troubleshooting for any issues that arise.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the on-premises Microsoft Exchange environment, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of the email system.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect the email system from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for email-related issues.
- Perform regular backups and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to integrate Exchange with other systems and applications.
- Develop and maintain documentation for the Exchange environment, including configuration settings, procedures, and policies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in Exchange administration and apply them to improve the system.
- Assist in planning and executing migration projects, if necessary.
- Provide training and support to end-users on email-related topics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Exchange Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server (2013, 2016, 2019) and related technologies.
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and other network services.
- Familiarity with email security protocols and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert - MCSE) are a plus.
