We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a development-focused project involving the operation and optimization of a Java-based ERP system for external customers. The role combines cloud infrastructure management, system reliability, and close collaboration with development teams to ensure high availability and performance of critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Technical operation and support of a Java-based ERP system for external customers.
• Administration and orchestration of infrastructure using Kubernetes and container technologies.
• Management, optimization, and monitoring of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.
• Configuration and maintenance of network infrastructure, including VPCs, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN connections (Site-to-Site and Client-to-Site).
• Database administration, with priority for Oracle and alternatively PostgreSQL.
• Implementation and supervision of monitoring and alerting systems.
• Ownership of backup strategies and execution of disaster recovery tests.
• Ensuring system availability and performance optimization, including Linux and JVM tuning.
• Performing root cause analysis (RCA) and troubleshooting production incidents.

• Proven experience in IT operations of complex software systems.
• Practical working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including core cloud services.
• Strong Linux administration skills and hands-on experience with shell scripting.
• Good understanding of security best practices and secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
