Job Description

Inetum is looking for a Test Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will contribute to both test design and test execution, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality software solutions for our clients. You will work closely with Business Analysts, Test Leads, and project teams throughout the full testing lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design of test scenarios in alignment with project requirements.
  • Document test cases and related materials using the appropriate tools.
  • Prepare, validate, and communicate test deliverables.
  • Prioritize test activities and contribute to knowledge‑sharing within the project team.
  • Execute test cases within your area of expertise.
  • Record test results accurately in the required tools.
  • Provide input for Go/No‑Go decisions.
  • Report risks related to deadlines or quality issues.
  • Keep Test Leads and management informed about project progress.
  • Detect and document anomalies.
  • Support defect prioritization and resolution.
  • Validate corrections and contribute to final project reports.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Informatics or a related field.
  • Fluency in French (mandatory).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing.
  • Understanding of test methodologies and testing vocabulary (ISTQB).
  • Ability to create test plans and schedules.
  • Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Good coordination, communication, and motivation skills.
  • Organized, committed, and able to summarize information effectively.

Desirable

  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience in testing within the insurance or banking industry.
  • Knowledge of:m Octanem, SQL, APIs, SAS and Control‑M or similar schedulers
  • Customer‑focused mindset with high standards for quality.
  • Ability to manage stress, adapt to changes, and learn quickly.

Additional Information

 

  • Availability to travel occasionally outside Portugal.
