Job Description

We are strengthening our team with a Backup Systems Administrator, with advanced experience in administering Enterprise Backup platforms. We are looking for an autonomous and detail‑oriented professional, accustomed to large‑scale corporate environments and capable of ensuring the reliability, continuity and security of data protection systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, install and operate Enterprise Backup engines, including:
    Commvault, Veeam, NetBackup (and others).
  • Manage and optimize centralized backup systems, ensuring performance, capacity planning and appropriate retention policies.
  • Implement improvements, fine‑tune configurations and ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Diagnose complex incidents and ensure effective corrective actions.
  • Support technology evolution projects and integrations with infrastructure platforms.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary technical teams, ensuring continuity of data protection services.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in similar roles within corporate environments.
  • Solid experience in Centralized Backup Systems Administration (not only operation).
  • Strong hands‑on experience with backup engines: Commvault, Veeam, NetBackup.
  • Additional knowledge of other data protection technologies (valued).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in backup infrastructures.
  • High sense of responsibility and technical rigor.
  • Autonomy and ability to work in complex, critical environments.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail and ability to manage priorities.
  • Good communication skills and ease in collaborating with technical teams.
