We’re looking for a Junior Project Management Officer to elevate the delivery of a diverse project portfolio and strengthen governance across a leading international banking group.

In this role, you’ll help driving project standards, reporting excellence, and portfolio-wide visibility, supporting leaders with clear insights and enabling project teams to work smarter.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and refine frameworks that ensure effective oversight of complex project portfolios.
  • Set up and manage robust tracking and reporting models covering risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, actions, and change control.
  • Prepare and deliver governance materials, interacting confidently with stakeholders at every level.
  • Provide hands‑on support to major projects, from governance setup and RAID management to SteerCo documentation and project closure.
  • Lead capacity‑planning efforts across multiple initiatives, helping teams navigate resource challenges.
  • Contribute directly to key project deliverables and shape how projects are scoped, framed, and executed.
  • Continuously enhance PM methodologies, templates, and tools to meet evolving business needs.
  • Build and maintain centralized reporting frameworks, ensuring data accuracy and transparency for internal and external audiences.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • 2 years of experience in project management, consulting or administrative roles.
  • Master’s degree in Business Management or similar. 
  • Strong critical thinking, exceptional organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Proven analytical capability and skill in developing meaningful performance indicators.
  • Ability to build strong networks and navigate diverse stakeholder groups with confidence.
  • Expertise with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English (mandatory). 

Additional Information

(Hybrid work, with 2/3 days of work in the office in LISBON per week)
