Job Description
The Coordinator, Email Marketing, is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day development of email communications, with a primary focus on curating content and shaping compelling stories, gathering and aligning inputs from cross-functional partners, and ensuring emails are delivered accurately and on time.
KEY PERFORMANCE METRICS
- Timely and accurate development of compelling email content and briefs that reflect Indigo’s voice and ensure readiness for execution
- 90% on-time stage gate for email
- Core email performance metrics (e.g., open rate, click rate, conversion)
- Effective coordination of cross-functional inputs, ensuring timely feedback, alignment, and execution readiness
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Functional
- Execute emails from concept brief to deployment by:
- Supporting/Developing creative briefs for email communications, building from the marketing calendar
- Facilitate email content, stakeholder reviews and edits, ensuring milestones and interim deadlines are met ensure on-time deployment
- Perform quality assurance on all emails with the production team to guarantee accuracy of products, content, and links
- Support email performance tracking and reporting by preparing and analyzing campaign results, demonstrating curiosity in identifying trends and surfacing key observations
- Stay up-to-date with trends and best practices in email marketing and share this information with the marketing team
- Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all decision-making and design processes
- Challenge the status quo by consistently identifying areas for improvement, diagnosing issues and working to resolve them
- Provide other support to projects as needed by the digital marketing team

- Email Service Provider (ESP) and related campaign management tools
Qualifications
Work Experience / Education / Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in preferably marketing, communications or business, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience in email marketing
- Experience using project management tools to support workflow organization and cross-functional coordination, or contributing to the development of new processes, is preferred
- Experience in a B2C fast-paced retail / ecommerce environment
- Understanding of data driven marketing
Competencies / Skills / Attributes
- Understanding of email marketing metrics and tactics is considered an asset
- Very detail oriented with strong analytical, planning and time-management/organizational skills
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple highly detailed tasks accurately while reacting with urgency and reprioritizing as needed to ensure all objectives and project deadlines are met
- Strong communication skills – dealing with stakeholders on a daily basis
