Job Description

Join the Donor Relations team as the Part-Time Temporary Donor Relations Assistant, where you play a pivotal role in enhancing donor experience and contributing to the success of the broader IUF President’s Office.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve actively participating in the assembly and mailing of donor communications, adding a personal touch to our interactions. This includes packaging and mailing athletic suite passes to donors and VIPs, sending cultural and athletic tickets to campus, school, and unit partners, and addressing and mailing special occasion invitations, cards, and letters. You'll also play a crucial role in acknowledging our loyal donors by packaging and mailing gifts and entering interactions in our donor database.

In addition to your involvement in donor communications, you'll be an essential part of VIP and Donor Recognition events, contributing to the success of these occasions by printing and assembling name tags and place cards and providing on-site event registration support. You’ll also process invoices and/or departmental transfers and travel receipts for the team.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills Required: 

Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.  

Excellent writing and editing skills; ability to write in a clear, concise, and error-free manner. 

Strong organizational, verbal, and people skills. 

High level of personal and professional integrity. 

Good judgment in managing confidential information. 

Ability to interact with stakeholders from a wide range of professional and cultural backgrounds. 

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 

Proficiency in extensively used job-related IUF software and systems. 

Education: 

A high School Diploma is required.

This position is located out of our Bloomington, IN office and offers up to 20 hours of work per week for at least 14 weeks, with the potential for an extension.
