Job Description

We are looking for a colleague, who would join the Data Engineering Team and help us develop Data solutions in a cloud based Microsoft Fabric data platform. Advanced data analytics will be one of our key sources of global competitive advantages. You will contribute to the creation of a green and secure energy ecosystem by:

  • Developing and maintaining data pipelines using Python, Airflow, Microsoft Fabric, and other modern data engineering tools
  • Assisting with the integration of data from various sources, including on-premises systems, cloud platforms, and APIs
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of lakehouse and data warehouse solutions
  • Performing data transformation, validation, and monitoring tasks to help ensure data quality and reliability
  • Troubleshooting pipeline issues and supporting day-to-day platform operations with guidance from senior team members
  • Collaborating with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions that meet business needs
  • Participating in code reviews, testing, documentation, and deployment activities
  • Learning and applying data engineering best practices related to security, governance, and performance
  • Continuously improving technical skills while contributing to the enhancement of existing data pipelines and processes

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, analytics engineering, or a related technical role
  • Good SQL and Python skills with the ability to write maintainable and efficient code
  • Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and fundamental data modeling concepts
  • Experience developing, supporting, or maintaining data pipelines and data integration processes
  • Familiarity with orchestration and workflow management tools (e.g. Airflow)
  • Basic understanding of data quality, data security, and governance principles
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and collaborate effectively within a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies and best practices
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Motivation to grow technically and take increasing ownership over time

Would be an advantage:

  • Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and/or Microsoft Azure services
  • Exposure to modern data platforms, warehousing, or lakehouse solutions
  • Experience working with APIs and integrating data from multiple sources
