  • Salary range for this position group: is 3430 to 5150 EUR (before taxes). The final offer depends on experience and competence. Variable part of remuneration may be paid depending on results.

Job Description

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Legal team of the Ignitis Group shared service center, where you’ll be responsible for providing legal support in complex financial and M&A transactions, ensuring smooth execution, risk management, and close collaboration with key business stakeholders. If that speaks to you, we’d be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Participating in and providing legal support in financing projects (e.g., project financing, syndicated loans, corporate finance, capital market transactions)
  • Participating in and providing legal support in M&A projects (e.g. buy/ sell side, partnerships)
  • Leading due diligence reviews, participating in negotiations, providing support throughout the whole transaction, managing post-closing legal matters
  • Drafting / reviewing of contractual documentation, managing legal questions and risks
  • Managing external advisors and ensuring efficient legal project organization
  • Collaborating closely with the finance teams (treasury and investment teams), project teams, other internal stakeholders
  • Providing other legal support on other finance and M&A legal complex and day-to-day matters

Qualifications

  • University degree in law (master’s degree or higher)
  • 5+ years of legal work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in finance or M&A transactions
  • Great legal drafting skills
  • The ability to deal with complex legal issues, reconcile different expectations and have good negotiation and coordination skills
  • Solution-oriented, pragmatic approach to legal challenges, taking ownership of your workstreams and driving matters forward with a high degree of independence 
  • Fluency in English and Lithuanian

Would be an advantage:

  • Experience in working on international financing or M&A projects
