The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 annually. The pay rate for a successful candidate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

Are you passionate about accounting and ready to make an impact in a growing company? We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting directly to the U.S. Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing daily financial operations. Your growth and development in this role could lead to exciting career advancement opportunities at ITW.

What You'll Do:

• Take full ownership of the accounts payable process by posting journal entries, maintaining accounting periods, and ensuring accurate cost allocations.
• Manage vendor relationships and invoice processing under the 80/20 principles for 1099 issuance.
• Maintain CAPEX reports by accurately coding fixed assets to their respective projects for effective Job Cost reporting.
• Analyze leased machine costs and complete property tax assessments, matching them against our customer machine base.
• Oversee and report sales and use tax on accounts payable items.
• Gather and analyze financial data to prepare monthly journal entries, ensuring timely completion of month-end closing procedures.
• Perform account reconciliations for general ledger accounts, addressing any discrepancies.
• Play a role in developing and monitoring company internal controls.
• Assist with other tasks as needed to support the finance team.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; recent graduates eager to advance their careers are welcome.
• 2-3+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in standard office tools such as word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
• A solid understanding and ability to apply GAAP for compliance and reporting.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, self-directed work style.
• Ability to multitask, handle pressure, and meet deadlines efficiently.
