Job Description

As a project manager within ISAAC’s marketing team, you will be the bridge between the technical (R & D) and sales teams to ensure successful and timely delivery of products. With drive, a natural ability to rally teams, and excellent communication and technical skills, you will organize and coordinate innovative product releases and software updates  Your strong knowledge of the transportation is key for understanding the needs of this market and proposing innovative solutions.

Your responsibilities

  • Developing and ensuring governance of the product launch project plan

  • Monitoring project schedules, costs and content

  • Coordinating product marketing with the various departments:

    • Working closely with the R&D, production and quality assurance teams to ensure quality and timely product release

    • Working closely with the Client Experience, sales and marketing teams to ensure customer satisfaction

    • Ensuring that product development and marketing efforts are aligned with the company’s strategies and objectives

  • Liaising closely with the various internal teams while providing regular status updates on the different projects

  • Forming and following various committees required for efficient project realization

  • Using an effective Stage Gate process and polling client satisfaction on new products

  • Actively participating in the user experience development in collaboration with the client experience team

  • Ensuring effective change management throughout project realization

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience as project manager for technological products

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or DEC, combined with 15 years of relevant experience)

  • Academic training in marketing or a master’s degree in innovation management (an asset)

  • Experience product management development, implementation and process management of product management (life cycle management, roadmap, stage gate process, etc.)

  • Experience or knowledge in the field of transport and logistics or with telematics solutions (an asset)

  • Curiosity and interest in new technologies and strong learning ability

  • Motivation, passion for results, and a good sense of priorities and organization

  • Leadership and strong team spirit

  • Highly effective in communicating strategies, plans and results, both verbally and written

  • Bilingualism (French and English), oral and written
