Job Description

As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely fund accounting services to a portfolio of fund clients. You will prepare and review financial statements, NAV calculations, investor reports, and other key accounting deliverables while maintaining strong governance, compliance, and risk management standards. The role requires excellent stakeholder management skills, a strong client service mindset, and a commitment to driving process improvements and operational excellence within the Fund Accounting function.

What you will do

  • You will prepare financial statements, investor reports, and Net Asset Value (NAV) reports while meeting strict accounting deadlines
  • You will collaborate with the wider fund accounting team, including Senior Fund Accountants and Fund Accounting Managers to support client portfolios and projects
  • You will maintain accurate records, follow accounting procedures, and assist Compliance with client reviews and issue reporting
  • You will deliver high-quality service to internal and external clients while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
  • You will build commercial and regulatory knowledge and present financial information effectively to senior stakeholders

Qualifications

  • You will have proven experience in Fund Accounting with a strong understanding of financial processes and controls
  • You will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality client service in a detail-oriented environment
  • You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional approach
  • You will be technically proficient, adaptable to new systems, and skilled at managing multiple priorities under pressure
  • You will hold a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, FCA, CA(SA) or equivalent
