Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant II to support property accounting functions for real estate portfolios, including reviewing mortgage, lease commissions, real estate taxes, insurance, and prepaid schedules. The role involves booking rental income, assisting in CAM reconciliations, and ensuring accurate sales tax calculations, real estate e-tax filings, and insurance payments. The successful candidate will handle day-to-day accounting activities such as AP/AR processing and assist in financial statement preparation while maintaining accuracy and compliance. This role operates on a US shift (6:30 PM onwards).

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain mortgage, lease commission, real estate tax, insurance, and prepaid schedules
  • Perform sales tax calculations and assist in processing real estate e-tax and insurance payments
  • Execute property accounting activities including rental income booking and CAM reconciliations
  • Process AP/AR transactions and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial data
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in property or real estate accounting
  • Basic to working knowledge of CAM reconciliation, rental income accounting, and GL processes
  • Experience in AP/AR and financial reporting support
  • Willingness to work in US shift (6:30 PM onwards) with strong attention to detail
