Job Description
- Work alongside the client lead to develop and maintain strong working relationships through direct communication with multiple clients
- Embrace a team structure, and foster a positive work environment through collaboration and mentoring/training of junior team members

- Ensure accurate and timely completion of agreed to deliverables, and prioritize as needed
- Be readily available to advise clients on accounting principles/matters, involving the client lead as necessary
- Assist in evaluating current financial and accounting processes, propose improvements and help coordinate implementation efforts
- Lead the vendor payment process, ensuring adherence to the established cash management policy
- Assist with cash management and budgeting
- Maintain books and records of management company entities in accordance with accounting policies adopted by management
- Manage the fund administrator; respond to inquiries and monitor the timing of deliverables
- Review the fund administrator’s reporting of net asset value (NAV) including accrual schedules, income allocation and investor statements
- Re-calculate management and performance fees in accordance with fund documents
- Assist with the review of financial statements, as prepared by the administrator, and provide assistance with the coordination of the annual audit process
- Coordinate the annual tax process, ensure the on-time filing of all returns and K-1s and facilitate electronic payment of taxes owed
- Work alongside the client lead to monitor client engagement economics, address inefficiencies within the team structure or current processes, and propose adjustments to client agreements as needed, including opportunities for expansion into other IQEQ segments
- Actively participate in department meetings and complete required trainings timely
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have many, if not all, of the attributes below:
- 7+ years of experience in alternative Investment Management industry (Hedge Fund, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate)
- BSBA in accounting
- CPA preferred
- In-house experience is a plus
- Excellent management, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Well versed in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with QuickBooks, Bill.com, Expensify, NetSuite, Sage are a plus
Additional Information
Salary based on experience and location ($95,000-$165,000) and full benefits package offered.
