Job Description
- Prepare accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all financial transactions, including the recording of lease agreements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Ensure that financial reports comply with accounting principles and regulatory requirements if needed.
- Assist in the preparation and revision of annual budgets.
- Analyze financial data to forecast future financial performance.
- Provide insights that help in strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Track the performance of investments and assess financial results.
- Prepare detailed reports on investment performance for stakeholders.
- Oversee cash flows, manage bank accounts, and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
- Handle transactions and cash management strategies to maximize financial efficiency.
- Develop and maintain internal control systems to prevent inaccuracies in financial statements.
- Review and improve financial and operational processes to enhance efficiency and integrity.
- Create and manage effective workflows to streamline operations and enhance the accuracy of financial reporting.
- Prepare and present financial information and investment reports to family members, board members, or other stakeholders.
- Develop management reports that provide essential insights into operational performance, financial status, and strategic progress.
- Ensure transparency and clarity in financial reporting to assist stakeholders in making informed decisions.
- Coordinate with tax advisors to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
- Prepare or assist in preparing tax returns and documentation for tax matters.
- Implement tax strategies to optimize the financial position of the family office.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have many, if not all, of the attributes below:
- 3+ years of experience in the alternative Investment Management industry (Hedge Fund, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate)
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA
- Public Accounting background
- Fund Administration experience a plus
- Superior management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task

- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Strong accounting and analytical skills

Additional Information
Salary based on experience and location ($65,000-$90,000) and full benefits package offered.
