Job Description
N.B. This role can be based in London, Belfast, Amsterdam or Dublin.
As a Client Solution Architect within Global Operations & Transformation, you will help define and oversee business operating model designs proposed to large international clients.
The role will be based in one of the following locations London, Belfast, Amsterdam or Dublin.
Responsibilities (how we will measure success)
- Ensure proposals include replicable and scalable client solutions that align to our platform/ operating model strategy
- Help prepare for and present client proposals, ensuring they are clear on how our delivery model will work, use of our Global Delivery Centres and the approach and timelines to implement
- Act as part of a ‘feedback loop’ sharing what we are seeing in market trends so that we look at what needs to be built out over the medium to longer term for clients
- Collaborate with the wider architecture team to validate proposed solutions, ensuring alignment with strategy and contribute to the Target Architecture.
- Synthesise complex information into easily understandable overviews and ensure dependencies are understood both by clients and internally
- Enable a smooth handover to the delivery function and operational teams up to and including onboarding completion
- Act as pre and post-sale solution design owner, working with project managers who are overseeing the onboarding and ensuring consistency in client interactions
- Ensure lessons are learnt from existing client onboardings and any challenges or successes are reflected in future client proposals
- Work closely and build strong relationships with our country, sales, onboarding and technology teams to improve the quality of proposals, increase business win rates and improve the client onboarding experience
Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)
- Support very large new client proposals, building out or leveraging template materials as necessary
- Work with our country, sales and technology teams (particularly the IT solution architect) to ensure our proposal meets the operational needs of our client whilst also being scalable and deliverable
- Build out expert knowledge of our operating model, pros and cons of different implementation models and know when to recommend different shared service centres or technology
- Help formulate and pull together project plans and product roadmaps to include in proposals
- Support definition and refinement of our target architecture as we adjust our sales offerings and internal support capabilities
- Feedback to product owners and stakeholders on new proposal requirements or ideas, that boost the chances of us winning future deals through adapting our roadmaps to meet more client needs
- Support onboarding and implementation teams that are dealing with subsequent onboardings, and act as a consistent point of reference and support for our large clients

Qualifications
Essential Criteria:
- Experience defining and implementing operating models, whether for internal or client purposes
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
- Minimum 5-10 years relevant professional experience
- Excellent organisational, prioritisation and interpersonal skills
- ‘Can do’ attitude, ability to cope with tight deadlines and working under pressure
- Ability to take initiative and self-manage
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify problems and challenges, demonstrating strong analytical ability as well as providing informed insights
Desired Criteria:
- Experience supporting client proposals
- Experience with Shared Service centres
- Experience in product lifecycle
- Experience in both digital and business initiatives
- Experience of operating within a firm that shares some of the following features:-
- Private Equity / financial services / outsourced services industry
- Globally distributed teams

Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft’s suite of packages
Proficiency in any requirements gathering or project management tools is a plus
