This position is for Absheron project. 

Job Description

- Ensure Engineering Dossier is delivered with a robust STATIC EQUIPMENT engineering definition and a fit‑for‑purpose design that can be safely procured, fabricated, transported, installed, commissioned, and operated, in compliance with the project Basis of Design, project specifications, and applicable international codes.

- Ensure and coordinate proper realization of the STATIC EQUIPMENT design in compliance with project specifications and procedures, execution schedules, required quality levels, and HSE requirements.
- Challenge EPSCC Contractors on proposed designs and oversee development of STATIC EQUIPMENT engineering, including equipment layouts, mechanical design calculations, integrity evaluations, and constructability aspects, to achieve a fit‑for‑purpose solution.
- Promote field‑driven technical optimization and cost‑saving initiatives, ensuring alignment with project schedule, contractual obligations, and safety requirements
- Identify critical STATIC EQUIPMENT engineering technical decisions, define clear technical pathways, ensure timely resolution
- Coordinate with weight control engineers and the engineering team to ensure close monitoring and control of equipment weights and load impacts.

- Work closely with 3D model administrators and Project Model Coordinators to support development and optimization of STATIC EQUIPMENT layouts.

Qualifications

Professional Experience (years): 15+ years in Oil and Gas projects

Experience in similar position (years): 10+ years at same or equivalent position with managerial responsibilities

Level / Diploma: Engineer, Master of science

Languages: English mandatory

Additional Information

Place of work (City & country ) : Chengdu, China then Baku, Azerbaijan 

Working Schedule : Resident 5 days per week 

Starting date : 01/09/2026

Duration of the mission : 12 Months
