Company Description
Our client multinational energy operator is developing offshore oil fields in Suriname (notably Block 58). The project focuses on deepwater production, aiming to boost reserves and output, with first oil expected before 2030. We are recruiting Marine Superintendent.
Job Description
- Conduct pre-hire inspections of Drilling Rigs, PSVs, and AHTS; issue action plans and monitor close-out of findings.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor marine operations, including mooring, semi-mooring deployment, and rig moves.
- Approve mooring arrangements, sea passage plans, and anchor handling procedures.
- Review marine procedures, task plans, and ensure compliance with COMPANY standards and HSE regulations.
- Serve as focal point for marine operations, liaising with contractors, internal teams, and Marine Warranty Surveyors.
- Conduct pre-rig move inspections on AHTS and ensure all marine equipment is certified and operational.
- Prepare and issue marine operation reports and Notices to Mariners.
- Participate in interface meetings and provide technical advice on marine operations.
- Promote and enforce safety culture onboard all vessels; perform hazard hunts and ensure HSE compliance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in offshore marine operations, mooring, rig moves, and AHTS operations.
- Knowledge of HSE regulations, marine procedures, and offshore standards.
- Ability to review and validate CVs, certifications, and qualifications of marine crew.
- Strong planning, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under rotational offshore schedules.
- Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills; ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel offshore and occasionally internationally.

- Duration: 2-years
- Rotational 5/5 (5 weeks on/5 weeks off), based on seven (7) worked days per week, with eight (8) hours of work per day -
